We are home now. Yesterday was very long; Jim had his staples removed before we left, and we found out from the neurosurgeon that if the tumors in the right side of his brain start growing again, he would be willing to remove both of them. At first he said that he would only be willing to remove the larger of the two, but he changed that yesterday to both. Good to know that we have that in our back pocket -

Jim will have the rest of this week off, then start up chemo again next Tuesday. He has 11 more treatments to go if he can take the treatments. Right now he's very weak; a lot of weight loss, coupled with muscle atrophy from his lack of activity, will determine whether or not he can complete his chemo treatment.
