Jim's vital signs are still stable, despite not having eaten or drinking anything of significance in over 5 days. The biggest problem that we are having right now is that because of the severe dehydration he's now experiencing, his veins keep collapsing. However, we have a great team of nurses caring for him, and they keep finding new veins.
I filled out an application to move Jim into Denali Center. It has the same skilled care that he needs, while also providing a more homey atmosphere for the family to visit him. We should find out today the status of the application.
