Went to the funeral home today to finish with Jim's final arrangements. The director and I got around to the subject of Jim's burial flag and what to do with it since he's not having a casket. I decided that it would be an honor for Jim's flag to fly over the American Legion Post that he's a member of until it's time for it come down for his memorial service, so at 6:30pm tonight we're going to run his flag up the pole so it can fly...

That's a great honor to have his flag flying at the post. In the short time that I have known Jim and Faith, they are great people and have treated me with respect. I pray for Jim and Faith every night and knbow that when the time comes Jim will be in God's hand, and will look down on the earth to guide and be there for Faith in mind and soul. Tell Jim I said hello, to hang in there, and that I hope to see him on Wednesday. I looking forward to it. Bob Hendrix, Sr.
