Jim's kidneys are beginning to fail, so perhaps we are finally at the end of this horrible place. It is time for him to let go, and for the rest of us to begin the healing process. Pray that he passes quickly, and without pain. I will be returning to Denali center to stay until it's over, and with very limited Internet available, I will most likely not update until it's over and I am home again.

The other night on the way home, the Aurora had bloomed across the sky, and
was dancing low.
The moon was out, and the sky gave the Lights a softly glowing background to
shimmer across.
It pulsed, the Ancestors playing kickball, bending near the Earth with
yellow and then red fringes, then up again, in another charge across the
sky.
As one pulse followed the other, it reminded me of dolphins chasing each
other through the surf, surging through each wave in joyous motion.
I smiled and thought to myself that this should be the kind of sky that Jim
takes his ride to the Stars upon.
May Beauty and Peace surround, bless, and protect you as you read this;all of you.

Hang in there- our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time. Call me anytime you need to talk.

Peace my heart...
Peace, my heart, let the time for the parting be sweet.
Let it not be a death but completeness.
Let love melt into memory and pain into songs.
Let the flight through the sky end in the folding of the wings over the nest.
Let the last touch of your hands be gentle like the flower of the night.
Stand still, O Beautiful End, for a moment, and say your last words in silence.
I bow to you and hold up my lamp to light you on your way.
Thinking of you my friend,
Rachele
