Pre-op went well today. Jim's blood pressure was in a good range, so the surgery is a go. We have to be at the hospital at 5:15am tomorrow (yikes!!!). The surgery will last about 3 hours, but first he'll have an MRI so the surgeon can map exactly where the tumor is.
Jim will be having a craniotomy, followed by a cranioplasty. The craniotomy removes the bone on the frontal lobe, and the cranioplasy replaces the bone with acrylic, so Jim's brain will be protected.
