Latest update -
We got a bunch of good news the last couple of days. The chest x-ray that was done last week showed that the chemo is working and the lung tumor and the tumor on his lymph node is beginning to shrink. Then we got a call this morning and we will be going to Seattle on the 31st for surgery to remove the part of his skull that has a tumor growing in it. As Jim says, 'I'll no longer be hard-headed!'
If things continue this way, there is a pretty good chance that Jim may be in remission by this summer. And that is really good news.
