Chemo went well yesterday. We are having a huge fight with Tricare right now concerning one of Jim's anti-nausea meds. It's called Emend, and a one week supply is over $350!! Naturally, Tricare doesn't want to pay for medicine this expensive, regardless of the fact that using it will decrease the amount of hospital admissions from dehydration and malnutrition.
On a somewhat lighter side, Jim now knows just what pregnancy feels like!! :) The nausea, the food that you love suddenly tasting (and looking) horrible, all of that. He's told me that he has much more sympathy for pregnant women...
